Remote Publishing Lead Engineer 

Are you a talented and motivated Game Engineer with a passion for working on a range of genres simultaneously? 

As a Publishing Lead Engineer at this award-winning studio, you will be working fully remotely taking on a range of responsibilities from taking a hands-on approach within the codebase, to mentoring the engineering team, and a whole lot more.

Please note this role is remote within Europe only.

Publishing Lead Engineer responsibilities: 

  • Evaluate the codebase of published titles 
  • Provide mentoring on engineering best practices 
  • Oversee the performance of partner titles 
  • Monitor the technical development of partner titles, identify risks and provide guidance 
  • Recommend new technologies and middleware to support partner studios 
  • Oversee hiring of technical publishing staff 

Essential requirements for this remote role: 

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or similar 
  • Extensive experience in the games industry 
  • Have worked on one or more shipped game 
  • Strong C++ programming skills 
  • Extensive knowledge in a range of software engineering areas 
  • Highly skilled in one or more engineering areas such as AI, graphics, networking, physics, etc. 
  • Console development experience with “last gen” consoles
