Product Manager

A Product Manager opportunity is available for a talented professional to join our client’s team in Copenhagen on a permanent basis. This role focuses on leading the vision and strategy for an innovative game-based learning platform, designed to help young children learn to read through interactive mini-games and engaging characters. The successful candidate will drive the product’s success as both an effective educational tool and a highly engaging game.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Establish and align the product’s creative vision with overarching business goals.
• Risk Management: Continuously address value, usability, and business viability risks.
• Product Discovery & Roadmap: Lead product discovery, converting business needs into features that are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable.
• Backlog Management: Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical considerations.
• Cross-Team Alignment: Maintain strong alignment within the team and with other departments (such as pedagogy, art, and writing) as well as key stakeholders (including marketing and senior leadership).

You Have:

• Extensive product management experience, ideally in games and/or children’s products.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Strong technical skills or proven experience collaborating closely with engineers on digital products.
• Deep knowledge of agile methodologies and digital product development practices.
• Experience with project management and communication tools, such as ClickUp, Jira, and Slack.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A passion for educational products and games.
