Producer

Skillsearch is helping a games studio find a full-time Producer to work on games currently in development. This is a permanent remote role, either based in Cornwall, hybrid or fully remote. It comes with a generous salary and benefits package, with the option to relocate and work in a beautiful part of the UK. 

In this Producer role, you will take ownership of game projects from current development through to delivery and post-release content with a focus on on-time delivery within budget. 

In your first few weeks in this Producer role, you can expect to: 

• Work to foster and maintain communication between various disciplines and with partner studios within the organisation 
• Schedule sprints and workload for the team each sprint, including risk assessment and management 
• Work with department leads and product owners to plan sprint capacity and estimates 
• Communicate with the Game Director and Product Owners regarding sprint scope and jointly manage interns. 

To apply for this Producer role, you will need to have shipped a minimum of 1 title as a Producer on PC or Console, preferably single player. You will also require the following: 

• Experience with software development practices 
• Good understanding of the project budgeting side of the business 
• Outstanding understanding of version control, ideally Perforce 
• Expert knowledge of JIRA or similar.
