Producer in Vancouver

As a Producer at this studio in Vancouver, you will have the chance to work onsite at the studio, or fully remotely from within British Columbia. Within the role you will work to define the product vision, develop milestone deliverables and ensure they are met on time. You will also be a key point of contact for external publishers, communicating project status, identifying risks and more.

Producer key responsibilities: 

  • Manage game development from pre-production to final product 
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for the product 
  • Create milestone schedules alongside team leads and directors 
  • Assess risk and ensure project stays in line with budget and schedule 
  • Update and add new features to improve live games 
  • Identify risks early and mitigate them 
  • Conduct annual reviews and career goal setting 
  • Create and maintain project management documents 
  • Mentor junior members of the production team 

Essential requirements for this role in Vancouver: 

  • Extensive experience producing PC, mobile and console games 
  • Experience working in a project management role 
  • Able to be responsible and self-directed 
  • Able to run live operations of release games 
  • Experience in project management practices, agile development and software project management software packages 
  • Have worked on two or more shipped titles in a Project Manager or Senior Production role 
  • University degree in a similar role or equivalent experience
