As a Principal Sound Designer at Humanoid, you will be responsible for creating and implementing critical components of the audio experience. You will be collaborating with the Audio Director, cross-disciplinary teams and outsourcing groups to craft the highest standards of audio quality and an incredibly ambitious and unique project.
In your first few weeks in this Principal Sound Designer role, you can expect to:
- Work closely with the Audio Director to explore, define and demonstrate the audio vision
- Craft in-game audio of the highest quality, starting with source material creation, on to final in-game assets and fully handling all aspects of technical implementation
- Own key areas of the audio experience, such as combat or the full cinematic audio pipeline, with help from the internal team and outsourcers
- Aid all disciplines to build a better experience; utilizing audio to its best ability to tell stories, sell mechanics and craft experiences.
To apply for this Principal Sound Designer role, you will need 5 years of industry experience on AAA titles, and a minimum of 2 years at Senior level or above. You will also require the following:
- 3 high-quality shipped titles
- Experience with Unreal Engine, Wwise and Reaper.
