Skillsearch is seeking a highly creative, veteran Principal Game Designer with a wealth of experience in F2P to explore and challenge new territory in the Mobile space. This full-time role is based in Barcelona and offers an attractive salary and benefits.
As a Principal Game Designer, you will work in small teams to rapidly design, prototype and iterate game ideas from yourself and the team. Although a master of your discipline, you'll still have a huge voice when it comes to concepting and designing mobile games.
In your first few weeks in this Principal F2P Designer role, you can expect to:
- Define, maintain, and develop the creative vision of the studio as it drives the ideation of innovative mobile games
- Champion best design practices in the studio
- Look at your ideas from an outside perspective, decide collectively when and why to kill a project and be ready to start the next one by incorporating the new learnings.
Applicants will require 8+ years of experience as a Game Designer, including work as a Senior or above. You will also need the following:
- At least 1 mobile F2P title launched/live
- Experience creating concepts and leading their delivery
- The skill and willingness to innovate and disrupt the market with new genres and experiences.
