As a Physics Programmer at this thriving studio in Edinburgh, you will be working on physics-based systems such as vehicle dynamics, water, objects and more to work towards a seamless blend of realism and fun in the feel of the studio’s games. 

This award-winning studio is home to one of the most globally famous game series of all time, as well as a veteran team that can be considered the best at what they do. Working to create a culture of innovation, creativity, and talent, this is a unique and exciting opportunity for a skilled animator to take the next step in their career, working on a brand-new AAA title. 

Physics Programmer responsibilities: 

  • Implement game features alongside design, animation, and AI 
  • Maintain vehicle systems and work on them to support new features 
  • Create new interactive objects and vehicles 

Key requirements for this role in Edinburgh: 

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Physics, Maths, Computer Science, or similar 
  • Significant prior games programming experience 
  • Experience with real time physics simulation 
  • Strong C/C++ skills 
  • Experience of rigid, multi body simulation 
  • Maths and multi-threaded programming skills
