Experienced C++ PC/Console Optimisation Software Engineer

Here is your chance to join a top studio, highly-regarded by their staff. You would be working on AAA titles and become part of a leading software engineering team in Nottingham, UK.

With your experience in profiling and opimising a wide variety of code based on C++ for both console & PC, our client is looking for you to join their team.

If thinking outside of the box comes naturally to you and you are adept at optimising & improving client-side game performance- this role would be a great fit for you!

Experience and Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging & optimisation skills.
  • Prior experience with C++ programming.
  • Recent experience within a similar role.
  • Experience with profiling and optimising Rendering pipelines.


  • You are a gamer or have experience in the game industry.
  • Previous experience working on an MMO game.
  • Robust software engineering and architecture principles and practise.
  • Able to both communicate effectively and take constructive criticism willingly.

Consultant Tom Matthews
