Oracle WMS Lead

Are you a seasoned Oracle WMS expert with deep experience in ERP implementation and warehouse management systems? We are seeking an Oracle WMS Lead to oversee the full lifecycle of Oracle WMS projects for a large-scale client in Aichach, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and rolling out all aspects of the Oracle WMS implementation, ensuring solutions meet business needs while adhering to the highest standards of performance and scalability.

This role requires a hands-on expert who can work independently, provide technical leadership, and consult with clients to deliver complex functional and technical solutions. You will collaborate with multiple teams, ensuring alignment across all stages of the project, from requirements gathering to final implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and configuration of all Oracle WMS modules, including Inbound Logistics, Outbound Logistics, Reverse Logistics, and Value-Added Services.
• Develop system requirements, prototypes, and functional specifications in alignment with client objectives.
• Provide expertise in configuring key Oracle WMS components like Put-away and Picking Rules, Label Configuration, and Task Management.
• Collaborate with project teams and business users to ensure seamless integration and execution of the Oracle WMS solution.
• Deliver clear and concise technical documentation for system design, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Manage communication with clients, providing consultative advice and resolving any technical obstacles.

Key Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle ERP, with deep knowledge of Oracle WMS, including Inbound and Outbound Logistics, and Mobile Supply Chain Applications.
• Expertise in Oracle WMS configuration, including Cross Docking, Wave Planning, and Cartonization.
• Proven track record of leading at least five full-cycle Oracle WMS implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex ERP issues.
• Strong command of both German and English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
