This full-time Oracle consulting role can be based at the company's head office in Langstone, Wales or their satellite office in Guildford and offers hybrid working. This position comes with an attractive salary of up to £65,000 and fantastic benefits.
As a skilled Senior Oracle Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to meet the client's business requirements for implementation projects and supporting their managed services clients. This position is 37.5 hours per week, and travel will be required to company offices and client sites.
In your first few weeks in this Oracle Technical Consultant role, you can expect to:
- Be responsible for the design, development, testing and support of technical tasks in Oracle Cloud
- Prepare and deliver technical workshops and engage with business stakeholders in requirements gathering and business mapping
- Carry out unit testing on code and develop test plans to verify the logic of new or modified code
- Create appropriate documentation such as requirements, detailed analysis, technical documentation or user guides
- Work with the sales team during the pre-sales engagement process and provide estimates for a range of technical work
To apply for this Senior Oracle Technical Consultant role, you will need at least five years of experience in Oracle ERP/HCM project implementations as a technical developer and Security Clearance (SC) is desirable. You will also require the following:
- Completion of at least two full ERP or HCM Oracle Cloud (Fusion) project implementations or EBS project implementations
- Extensive knowledge of the underlying database structure for ERP/HCM Oracle Cloud (Fusion) or EBS
- Familiarity with BI Publisher reports, Migration and Workflow components
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with good attention to detail
- Good management skills and a dedication to achieving business outcomes and project deadlines
