Are you an Oracle Fusion Middleware expert looking for a new opportunity to work a high responsibility role in a well-respected company? If this sounds like you, look no further!

As an Oracle Fusion Middleware Engineer you will be working on a full-time contract basis at the firm’s offices in Cardiff. You will be taking on responsibility for helping to transform their Web engineering role into a multi-skilled, multi-platform Cloud discipline. You should be a natural communicator with a track record of performing well under pressure to succeed in the role.

Oracle Fusion Middleware Engineer responsibilities:

  • Work within the Technical Services team
  • Take on responsibility for management and support of the middleware estate (administration of WebLogic, Oracle Fusion, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere)
  • Identify opportunities for change and introduce automation techniques to enhance efficiency
  • There will be an increasing focus on the DevOps lifecycle and meeting the needs of the development pipelines

Key requirements for this role in Cardiff:

  • Significant experience of administering WebLogic and the Oracle Fusion stack
  • Familiar with other web application server technologies
  • Expert in High Availability deployments
  • Knowledge of security solutions (OAuth, CORS, etc.)
  • Fluent in shell scripting languages
  • Experience with Ansible to eliminate manual tasks and improve quality
  • Experience with monitoring and analysing Middleware environments
  • University degree (or equivalent)
