Operations Assistant in Brighton

For the past 30 years we’ve been busy helping people with sought after skills find jobs in the Games, Interactive and Enterprise Systems industries, all around the globe.

We’re now recruiting for a brand new role – someone to support our Operations Manager with office administration and reporting as we drive the business to the next level.

Currently we have a team of 36 mainly based in our Brighton office but we also have 5 people in Manila and 1 person in Vancouver working remotely. We are in a period of growth and want to get to 40 staff by the end of 2023

We are looking for someone to join our Ops team with a real eye for detail to ensure that the data provided by our team is accurately recorded in the systems that power our targeting and invoicing

You will achieve this by:

  • Ensuring placement and company records in our database are completed accurately
  • Following up/chasing down consultants when needed
  • Running credit checks and working with consultants to ensure they are accurate and produced in a timely fashion
  • Managing leader boards and incentive trip trackers
  • Assisting with our annual games industry salary survey
  • Following up on Placement Notifications

Other tasks will include:

  • Maintaining and ordering office food supplies
  • Stationery ordering
  • Ordering supplies for incentive rewards
  • Office recycling

As this is a new role we expect more tasks and responsibilities to be added over time.

You will:

  • Be focused on data accuracy and have the confidence to chase consultants when needed (they are all really nice but sometimes need a friendly reminder). This reflects the core part of the role
  • Be comfortable with databases and spreadsheets
  • Be willing to grab whatever might be thrown at you – it’s a role that will develop over time
  • Be enthusiastic – we don’t care whether you’re recently out of college or University, or have some work experience, we’re interested in your attitude more than anything

On top of that we are in a great location, 5 minutes from the beach and in the heart of the city. This role is full time and based in our Brighton Office.
