As an Online Programmer at this studio in London, you will be working closely with both UI and online services teams to support the studios award-winning games through maintaining systems and designing new ones, as well as working on a variety of activities for providing client-side support.
This studio creates team based multiplayer games and with a successfully received title already under their belt, and an exciting new one in production, it’s the perfect time to join their team! It is important to note that this role is temporarily remote, with the view to move to onsite working once it is safe to do so.
Online Programmer key responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain systems to support games
- Craft client-side support for services and APIs
- Create and maintain client-side support for analytics
- Connect game features with external services seamlessly
Essential requirements for this role in London:
- Strong C++ knowledge with professional experience
- Experience with external APIs and services in a large robust system
- Experience integrating APIs with game clients
- Professional development experience with Unreal Engine

Additionally, the Night Tube, a 24-hour service, is available on Fridays and Saturdays, making getting home after an evening exploring or catching up with friends a breeze. Aside from the Tube, London offers buses, river buses, black cabs, ‘Boris Bikes’ and trams, so getting around the city should never be a problem!
