Skillsearch is on the lookout for a talented and collaborative LiveOps Designer to join our client's thriving team in Guildford. This full-time LiveOps Designer role comes with a generous salary, flexible working around core hours of 10-4.30, and many exciting benefits. 

You'll be working for a small, welcoming company making games that unlock people's imagination and help them express themselves in wonderful, fun ways. The team is busy building a new multiplayer cooperative game with an ambitious creative wrapper around it, and this is an excellent opportunity to play a crucial role in development. 

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do as LiveOps Designer: 

  • Dive in and explore the current progression, meta and monetisation systems, scoping out how the team can iterate, manage, and balance 
  • Review their current feature roadmap and identify opportunities for new features to add depth and nuance to the systems 
  • Work with people inside and outside the studio to understand requirements for the game, studio and publisher 
  • Gear up for releasing the game while also planning how the game and its economy might evolve over the following two years 

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a live game environment on shipped games with a clear understanding of the technical requirements and risks associated with running a live service game. You will also need to be comfortable working with data and dashboards to iterate and evaluate features.
