A very well backed studio based in West Germany are on the hunt for a new Level Designer to work on their upcoming console/PC projects.
This role is the ideal opportunity for a Level Designer looking for a step up in responsibility to launch their career to the next level. Our client are a very tight knit team who endorse a flat hierarchy ensuring everyone has their say on all matters on any given project and also provide a great deal of responsibility across the team.
They make a variety of different games across different genres, a great example of this is their upcoming project which is very similar to Rachet and Clank, an action platformer, FPS, with some what of a fun comedic aspect to it. Our client are very much a studio who encourage this fun culture which is no more apparent from their awesome studio layout.
In this position you will be responsible for preparing paper macro and micro level design and mission document drafts. Designing, prototyping, iterating on and polishing the in-game part of the open world including missions, enemy encounters, and other gameplay elements, using the Unreal 4 tools and blueprint system.
And in order to be considered for this one you must have at least 2 years industry experience as a Level Designer, have a great knowledge of Unreal 4 and shipped at least one successful console/PC project.
