Our client is looking for a talented Lead Vehicle Artist to support our projects in Europe, remote across Europe, and the remote role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package. 

As a Lead Vehicle Artist, you will report to the Art Director and must ensure the consistent delivery of top-quality content and documentation that meets client and internally created specifications. You will also work with clients to develop an understanding of the project aesthetic and technical requirements. 

In your first few weeks in this Lead Vehicle Artist role, you can expect to: 

  • Define and establish appropriate specifications for the work and create and maintain workflows and documentation to communicate these to the Art Team 
  • Design and implement project-specific training for the art team 
  • Work with the Project Managers and the art teams to develop solid estimates, pipelines, schedules, and production plans 
  • Take responsibility for the quality of all outgoing art assets and proactively work to improve the approval ratio for the team 

To apply for this Lead Vehicle Artist role, you will need to be an expert in creating cars and other vehicles for video games. You will also require the following: 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ industry experience with a minimum of 1 title shipped at Lead Artist level 
  • Advanced knowledge of current-gen game content development processes, tools, pipelines, scene management, limitations, and dependencies 
  • Skilled with current tools and technologies 
  • Proven ability to produce top-quality content using current generation game engines (Unreal, Unity, Lumberyard, etc) and techniques
