In this Lead Unity Developer role, you will be the technical driving force behind the company, taking the lead in developing core game functionality, integrating art assets, and refining gameplay mechanics.
In your first few weeks in this Lead Developer role, you can expect to:
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Unity and C# and oversee the debugging process
- Direct the development and implementation of game mechanics, system processes, and innovative features that align with our mindfulness focus
- Collaborate closely with the Game Designer to ensure the technical feasibility of the game design
- Integrate art and sound assets, working in synergy with the Art Director and Sound Designer.
To apply for this Lead Developer role, you will need proven experience as a lead developer on a game project, preferably in mobile gaming. You will also require proficiency in C# and extensive experience with the Unity game engine. In addition, you should have experience with AI programming, physics, and gameplay systems in Unity. Knowledge of mobile platform-specific limitations and challenges is also essential.
