Lead UI Engineer

Skillsearch is helping a gaming studio find and hire a Lead UI Engineer in London. This full-time role comes with a favourable salary and some excellent benefits.  

As a Lead UI Engineer, you will be accountable for establishing and driving the technical design and implementation of the user interface.  

In your first few weeks in this Lead UI Engineer role, you can expect to: 

• Create project roadmaps for UI engineering and plan sprints for their team, effectively prioritising work to make ideal use of each team member's skills 
• Share knowledge with your team to create performant and robust data-driven interfaces that commit to the core technical pillars of a project 
• Collaborate with other disciplines to realise your ideas through iterative UI development and are not afraid to dive into hands-on work when necessary.

• Expert knowledge of C++, with relevant professional experience 
• Practical UI implementation knowledge and experience with UI design teams to understand and overcome technical limitations 
• Proven technical UI leadership experience and expertise in setting up UI pipelines and project documentation.
