Skillsearch is assisting our client in finding a Lead Treasury Analyst to support their global treasury functions. In this role, you will oversee cash management, cash flow forecasting, bank relationships, and ensure smooth treasury operations across various regions. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Treasury, you will play a key role in managing daily liquidity, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with bank regulations, all while driving operational efficiency across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee daily Treasury Operations and Cash Management for North America, ensuring payments are processed timely, bank issues are resolved, and appropriate funding is secured.
  • Manage and report on the 13-week rolling consolidated global cash forecast.
  • Perform daily cash positioning and short-term forecasting, ensuring liquidity needs are met and supporting debt repayments and revolving credit facility borrowings.
  • Monitor daily cash balances and transactions, initiating investments or redemptions for surplus or deficit positions, while maintaining fraud prevention processes.
  • Review and approve daily wires or ACH transactions for accuracy, ensuring proper documentation and authorisation.
  • Ensure the successful transmission of all processed transactions to and from the bank.
  • Manage intercompany settlement funding across subsidiaries and resolve any related issues.
  • Analyse bank fees and negotiate reductions where applicable, ensuring the best terms for the business.
  • Maintain and report on bank and investment account balances, fees, and various financial metrics.
  • Serve as a Bank Administrator, approving user access and managing escalations for processing issues.
  • Administer the Kyriba Treasury Management System (TMS) and assist in implementing new modules.
  • Support KYC and regulatory compliance requirements for banking activities.
  • Mentor and guide team members while supporting audits and internal controls.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, including cash management, investment operations, bank account management, and liquidity forecasting.
  • Experience with KYC and bank regulatory compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in online banking platforms and analytical skills to manage complex data.
  • Leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor and guide team members.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and ERP systems.
