Do you have real-time rendering experience, and are you seeking a new remote role? Our client is looking for a Lead Rendering Programmer, and the remote role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package. 

As a Senior Rendering Engineer, you will take the lead of a team of rendering specialists at an AAA Games studio. Your team will be responsible for delivering rendering technology and support for multiple titles across a wide range of consoles and desktop devices. 

In your first few weeks in this Rendering Engineer role, you can expect to: 

  • Architect high-quality, performant rendering solutions across a wide range of consoles and in-house projects and lead the team to deliver them 
  • Work closely with art teams to determine project rendering requirements and develop efficient content, workflow, and overall visual style of the game 
  • Convert requirements into actionable tasks and manage the team 
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in real-time and game rendering 
  • Maintain the quality of the codebase through the establishment of good software engineering practices 

To succeed in this Rendering Lead role, you will need a passion for real-time computer graphics and a desire to learn continually. You will also require: 

  • Excellent C++ and software engineering skills and the ability to instil those in others 
  • An in-depth understanding of 3d rendering APIs (DX12, Vulkan, console APIs, etc) and experience in using them
