Lead Rendering Engineer

Skillsearch is looking for a talented Lead Rendering Engineer to join our client's inclusive team in Brighton. This full-time rendering engineering role offers a generous salary and fantastic benefits, including hybrid working from the office in Brighton or remote working options. 

As a dedicated Lead Rendering Engineer, you will work closely with all disciplines and bring the Art and Creative Directors' visions to fruition. You will also guide graphics development on an unannounced title. In addition, you will work on all aspects of the game rendering with a small team, collaborating with the artists to meet or exceed visual targets and performance goals. 

To apply for this Lead Rendering Engineer role, you will need demonstrable work in designing and implementing advanced graphics techniques. You will also require the following: 

• A self-starter able to digest a goal, research and plan the steps to achieve it 
• Expertise in meeting performance goals across a range of target hardware 
• Experience with CPU, GPU and asset optimisation 
• Excellent ability in C#, C or C++ and one of HLSL, Cg or GLSL 
• Exceptional 3D maths skills
