Lead Programmer

As a Lead Programmer, you will take a hands-on role in the development and together with other discipline leads, help to turn the creative vision into reality. You will also ensure the efficient integration of features with the help of other technical team members. As a pioneer of a new IP and growing studio, this role demands the ability to draw upon a deep set of experiences and learn new skills, facing challenges independently and in collaboration with the rest of the team. 

In your first few weeks in this Lead Programmer role, you can expect to: 

• Maintain an understanding of the entrusted parts of tech, especially network, UI and tools, and help to identify roadblocks/risks 
• Cooperate with other members of the technical team to identify and communicate technical requirements and constraints 
• Enable progress 
• Plan, estimate, prioritise, assign, and monitor tasks 

To apply for this Lead Programmer role, you will need 5+ years of games industry programming experience. You will also require the following: 

• A full cycle of game development, from prototyping to post-release project maintaining 
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent formal qualification in a relevant field (or equivalent experience) 
• Experience developing multiplayer games 
• Experience developing large-scale, open-world and sandbox games 

• Solid general knowledge of all technical pipelines and processes required to develop, distribute and maintain a game
