As a Lead Programmer at this studio in Leamington Spa, you will play a key role in the future development of the studio, leading the coding team and all technical efforts for their huge and exciting game projects.

This ambitious studio has several top-secret titles currently in development and have enjoyed plenty of success this year with their world-class new releases. Lead Programmer key responsibilities:

  • Develop technical designs and specifications for complex projects and implement them
  • Work to create the highest quality product possible
  • Test gameplay features throughout development, and refine them based on feedback
  • Mentor the project engineering team
  • Perform code reviews
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients

Essential requirements for this role in Leamington Spa:

  • Highly skilled in C++
  • Significant prior games industry experience
  • Have worked on two or more recently shipped AAA games
  • Knowledge of industry development practices
  • Have worked on post-launch or ongoing product development
  • Experience with continuous integration and build automation
  • Have worked in an agile development environment

VR and AR Consultant Ryan Templeman

Ryan looks after programmers particularly focusing on the VR/AR space. We think he’s working here mostly get his hands on new Lord of the Rings VR experiences as soon as they come out although, with his level of knowledge, maybe he should be helping make them instead!    He is one of the few people on the team that is a born and bred Brightonian. In fact he has never moved far - to the point where last time he moved, it was only 2 doors down from his old place!
