A little bit about the area: Finland
Finland offers residents and visitors alike a great quality of life, it is a safe, clean and politically stable country with human rights and equality being highly valued. Although living in Finland isn’t cheap, it’s not as expensive as settling down in Sweden, Denmark, France or the UK. Finnish is a notoriously difficult language to speak, but fortunately, most Finns speak perfect English, so you won’t find issue with the language barrier! Getting around the capital, Helsinki, is easy thanks to the extensive public transport system. There is a reliable metro system, but also city bikes which are available from May to October. As for getting in and out of Finland, Helsinki airport is a 2-3-hour flight away from most major European destinations such as London, Berlin and Paris.
