As a Lead Game Designer in Leeds, you will be communicating project visions to the design team and leading them to create the highest quality gameplay content. The studio has recently made the move from a small start-up studio to an established multi-disciplined games studio specialising in full-scale immersive extended reality games, meaning you can lead a growing team working on numerous projects with the goal to be the best developer of VR titles in the world.

This award-winning studio specialises in immersive AR and VR experiences for PC, mobile and console. With a team of veterans working with some of the biggest brands on the planet, and some exciting projects up their sleeve, it’s the perfect time to join them. 

Requirements

• Knowledge to be involved in every stage of the production pipeline
• History in games development and design
• In depth understanding of the gaming industry with shipped titles to your name
• Leadership experience and management skills

Responsibilities

• Working in Unity to define the level design philosophy
• Leading the design team to efficiently produce gameplay content
• Documenting and tracking the projects and supporting the vision
• Building efficient pipelines for content creation whilst ensuring play quality within that pipeline
