Lead Game Designer in London 

Are you a Game Designer with leadership experience who likes the sound of taking on a key position in the development of a new arcade title, from prototyping through to launch and beyond? If so, keep reading! 

As a Lead Game Designer at this studio in London, you will have plenty of creative freedom as well as responsibility as you lead the product through prototyping, live testing and a worldwide launch. If you’re versatile and love taking innovative approaches to your work then you could be a great fit for this role. 

This studio creates mobile free-to-play games as well as console games. Having found huge success in the past with previous releases, they’re looking forward to what the future holds for them with the new creative titles they have in the works. Lead Game Designer responsibilities: 

• Set the game vision, hone designs, encourage the team and more for the new project 
• Lead Game KPI improvements through optimising the team output 
• Respond to player feedback 
• Hold the creative vision for all aspects of game design 
• Ensure live tests run smoothly 
• Assist the producer in maintaining documentation of designs, timeline- and roadmap 
• Own competitive analysis and market research 

Key requirements for this role in London: 

• Extensive prior experience in Game Design 
• Significant prior experience in free to play mobile games 
• Experience in a senior or lead designer role on a F2P game 
• Have played a key role in a successful mobile game from concept through to live operations 
• Able to prototype games, systems and ideas in Unity 
• Experience using data and business intelligence to push live operations
