As a Lead Game Designer at this studio, you will have the chance to work fully remotely as you translate creative direction into quality gameplay elements, playing a key role in implementing creative processes to empower and inspire amazing gameplay.

They are on a mission to revolutionise VR gaming and bring about a new generation of virtual reality. Lead Game Designer responsibilities: 

• Ensure the creative process delivers great gameplay whilst supporting team growth and mentorship 
• Evolve a positive development process remotely 
• Drive development of features through collaborative design 
• Ensure cross-discipline mentality through the development team 
• Champion VR and innovation 
• Work on feature innovation and gameplay mechanics 
• Review other team members work 

Key requirements for this remote role: 

• Extensive prior professional experience in game development 
• Have worked on three or more shipped game titles (at least one of which is a current generation console title) 
• Analytical mindset 
• Track record of hands-on design work 
• Understanding of real time game engines, tools, pipelines, optimisation and cross-platform development 
• Passionate about making innovative games
