Skillsearch is looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Game Artist to join our client's inclusive and talented team. This full-time gaming artist role is remote in the UK and comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.  

As a Lead Game Artist, you will help concept and craft visuals. You will take design wireframes and produce themed UI artwork (screens, icons, buttons) from concept to in-game quality assets.  

In your first few weeks in this Lead Game Artist role, you can expect to: 

  • Concept and craft visuals for new games 
  • Work with the design and art team to realise an easily navigable and aesthetically pleasing UI experience for an established player community 
  • Feed directly into design and art for recurring and upcoming events 
  • Help to direct and delegate tasks on projects 

To apply for this Game Artist role, you will need a deep understanding of mobile game development and approaches to UI. You will also require a portfolio showing your contribution to previously released or upcoming mobile, PC or console projects. In addition, you should have high-quality illustration skills and the ability to quickly illustrate your ideas and present them to a busy and engaged team. Being well-versed with UI for Unity and the ability to match a pre-existing style are also essential.
