Remote Lead Environment Artist 

Are you a talented Environment Artist with experience taking on a lead role? Does the idea of working on a revolutionary project amongst an award-winning team appeal to you? If so, keep reading! 

As a Lead Environment Artist at this studio, you will have the chance to work fully remotely as you take on the mission of driving quality and vision for game environments whilst managing a team of artist, driving high quality asset production and plenty more. 

This studio is made up of a veteran tam of developers, and they are currently working on a highly anticipated upcoming AAA game, so it’s the perfect time to join them! 

Lead Environment Artist responsibilities: 

  • Define visual quality goals for 3D environments 
  • Lead a team to create amazing environment art 
  • Create, improve and maintain pipelines 
  • Manage team deliverables and ensure schedules are met 
  • Set budgets and document workflows 
  • Promote a culture of collaboration 

Key requirements for this remote role: 

  • Extensive experience working on 3D environment asset creation 
  • Extensive professional experience as an Artist in the games industry 
  • Prior experience in a Lead Environment Artist role 
  • Experience with current 3D modelling tools (3DS Max, Maya or similar) 
  • Experience with tools such as Substance
