Remote Lead Environment Artist 

Are you a talented Environment Artist looking for an opportunity to step up into a high responsibility role? Do you like the sound of working with the biggest AAA clients in the industry? If this sounds interesting, this role could be the one for you... 

As a Lead Environment Artist at this studio, you will be working fully remotely alongside the Art Director as well as other Lead Environment Artists, acting as the point of contact for clients and looking after their needs whilst keeping them updated on projects, whilst also leading a team of game artists and supporting their future career development. The ideal candidate for this role will be based in the EU to be close to their UK-based team. 

This studio is owned by a giant parent company and is working with some of the biggest world-renowned clients around. With studios around the world and some exciting AAA games currently in the pipeline, this is a great time to join the team. 

Lead Environment Artist key responsibilities: 

  • Be the key contact for clients and look after their needs 
  • Work closely with the Art Director as well as other Lead Environment Artists (UK based) 
  • Look after a team of Environment Artists and help to support their career development 

Essential requirements for this remote role: 

  • Experience in 3D design 
  • Strong command over 3DS Max, Maya 
  • Experience working on impressive game environments and assets 
  • Experience leading a team of artists 
  • University degree (or equivalent) in Art or Design such as Animation, Game Art, Industrial Design, Textile Design, or similar
