If you have Lead Engine Programming experience and you’re seeking a new remote role, we want to hear from you. Skillsearch is helping a respected gaming studio recruit a Pipeline Engineer, and the remote role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package. 

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop new pipeline technology to produce current and future games. 

In your first few weeks in this Senior Game Engineer role, you can expect to: 

  • Directly supervise a small team 
  • Maintain and support our existing pipeline technology while in use by production teams 
  • Analyse code for performance and optimisation opportunities 
  • Analyse document functionality and implementation details for production and other engineers 

To apply for this pipeline engineer role, you will need 5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You will also require the following: 

  • Knowledge of game production tools and pipelines 
  • Knowledge of C++, and Python programming 
  • A grasp of mathematical concepts and analysis techniques as they apply to game engine programming 
  • Experience scheduling, scoping, and distributing technical work
