As a Lead Developer, you will work on some of the most exciting indie games on all major consoles, PC and mobile.
In your first few weeks in this Porting Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Act as a senior individual contributor on the highest value projects
- Direct the porting of titles to major consoles alongside partner developers and quality assurance teams
- Lead and mentor development team members towards the company goals and porting deadlines
- Take on new technical challenges to solve complex and new problems.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be an experienced Engineer with excellent programming fundamentals and several years of experience in Unity. You will also require the following:
- Background in programming and extensive prior experience developing software using C / C++ and employing object-orientated programming principles
- Time management skills, self-motivated with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Console experience, along with an ability to take on new technical challenges while motivating and mentoring other team members to do the same
- An interest in optimisation and rendering within Unity (beneficial).
