As a Lead C++ Programmer at this studio, you will be working fully remotely as you lead a talented team of programmers to create fun and unique games, whilst also maintaining and improving the in-house engine.
This studio creates their own IP as well as co-developing other games, they work on challenging the status quo and solving problems to create the most fun and interesting experience for their players. You will be surrounded by talented individuals in a culture of discovery and innovation, where each individuals input and versatility is hugely valued.
Lead C++ Programmer key responsibilities:
- Create and maintain solutions for new technology to support games
- Maintain in-house cross-platform engine
- Lead a small team and look after their performance
Essential requirements for this remote role:
- Significant prior experience in a similar role
- A senior programmer with leadership experience
- Experience with all aspects of technical game development
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Experience with cross-platform development for console and PC
- Experience with low-level engine programming
- Optimisation experience for console and PC
