Lead Backend Engineer

Take the lead in shaping the backend development of a community-driven game studio as a Lead Backend Engineer. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of backend engineers, working closely with design and production teams to ensure the successful deployment of backend features in the flagship Action MOBA game. Your role will involve designing and championing new processes to improve team workflow, writing robust backend code, and driving the recruitment and growth of the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and lead a team of backend engineers, advocating for best practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and other departments to oversee the development and deployment of backend features.
• Process Improvement: Design and implement new processes to enhance the team’s workflow and working environment.
• Technical Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation to support effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Recruitment: Drive the recruitment process to expand and strengthen the engineering team.

Nice to Have:

• Passion for MOBAs: A strong interest in Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games.
• Kotlin Experience: Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
