Remote Lead Artist 

Are you a Game Artist looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills in a high responsibility role? Like the sound of building and leading a team of talented artists? If this sounds interesting to you and you’d like to know more then keep reading! 

As a Lead Artist at this award-winning studio, you will have the opportunity to work fully remotely as you work with the Art Director to establish artistic goals for the game you’re working on, coaching members of the team, overseeing asset production and a whole lot more. 

This studio is home to several genre-defining games, as well as a tight-knit and talented team. As a part of the team, you will get to enjoy some great benefits from game jams and social events to private health and dental care, to a season ticket loan, and much more. 

Lead Artist key responsibilities: 

  • Develop the visual direction for a project from conception through to completion 
  • Look after the overall quality of assets produced 
  • Mentor junior members of the art team 
  • Help to find and onboard new team members 

Essential requirements for this remote role: 

  • Have worked on one or more shipped game in a Lead Artist role 
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating an understanding of the latest 3D creation software 
  • Understanding of technical constraints relating to real time, level editors and 3D engines 
  • Strong understanding of Unity, Unreal or similar engines as well as of production methodologies and game design processes
