As the UK’s fourth largest city, Leeds is considered the most successful business, financial and legal hub outside of London across the UK and has often been rated as one of the best places to live in the UK on cost of living and happiness factors. Although a big city, Leeds city centre is actually very compact, taking only 30 minutes to walk from one side to another. Home to cultural legends such as Alan Bennett and Damien Hirst, as well as being full of galleries and museums, culture is one thing Leeds is not short of. Although historically an industrial city, Leeds isn’t all factories and traffic! With a variety of green spaces, parks and good schools, this city is a great option if considering relocating with a family.
