  • Manage art resources, create project plans, and ensure smooth and efficient development workflows.
  • Collaborate with product managers, programmers, and designers to meet project milestones and deliver assets on time.
  • Oversee the production process to ensure all visual elements align with gameplay, brand, and artistic vision.
  • Continuously improve art pipelines and production standards to enhance quality and efficiency.

What we're looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience in game art, including 2 or more years in a lead or senior artist position.
  • Degree from a recognised art institution or equivalent professional training, with a strong foundation in visual design and artistic expression.
  • Proven experience in developing successful casual or mobile games for international audiences, with a strong understanding of Western (European and American) market preferences.

  • A passion for gaming, a creative mindset, and the ability to think independently and logically.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative and proactive attitude.

Why join:

  • Opportunity to take creative ownership of an international casual game project.
  • Collaborate with a passionate, skilled team of artists and developers.

Joe McKernan

Associate Director of Games and Interactive

Our Associate Director, Joe, joins Giles in heading up our Games and Interactive division, his passion springing from being blown away by the effects in Star Wars at a young age. His love hasn’t wavered and Joe always seems to bring out a new Star Wars t shirt every dress down we have! We are lucky to have him considering that he once got stuck half way up a mountain in Borneo so now he goes for flatter holidays – most recently driving across America in a Mustang.
