Skillsearch is a busy Recruitment agency in the heart of Brighton. For the past 30 years, we’ve been busy helping people with sought after skills find jobs in the Video Games, Interactive and Enterprise Systems industries across the globe.
Our client base includes studios that are recognised household names, through to independent games developers and people working within the exciting world of AR and VR.
It’s an exciting time to join our team based in central Brighton!
Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain and build upon relationships with the worlds leaders in the games industry.
• To build Skillsearch’s brand within the Games industry through strategical networking.
• Become an expert on the industry, knowing the key influencers and leading individuals
working across the industry.
• Work closely with the recruitment consultants to build upon talent pools in critical areas.
• Provide market insight to the consultants.
The ideal candidate will be:
• A strong communicator and networker.
• Well organised and able to prioritise and multi-task
• Confident in person and on the phone.
• Stable in performance when working under pressure
• Able to use own initiative
• Motivated by a targeted driven environment
• Passionate about (or have an understanding of) games and emerging technologies
• Able to work Monday-Friday onsite at our office based in the south lanes

Giles runs our Gaming & Interactive division and specialises in forming tight knit teams, whether that’s for a studio or in our office. He represented his county at rugby for every age group from 12 onwards which no doubt helped him to cultivate his excellent understanding of team dynamics. Giles is known for his warmth and willingness to take time to work through any issues that may arise, although make sure you don’t try and share his food as then you won’t be getting a warm welcome – Giles doesn’t share food!
