Junior Online Merchandiser – 12998

Do you have experience in menswear branding and want to optimise online retail experiences? Are you looking for an opportunity to own the merchandising of sites using visual merchandising techniques? This could be the role for you!

As a Junior Online Merchandiser in London, you will be continuously merchandising the website to create an exciting customer experience which supports business strategies whilst maintaining brand aesthetics. You will be utilising testing capabilities to ensure the best commercial outcomes for the brand, identifying opportunities and working closely with the marketing department to prioritise the activities.

Requirements

  • Background in menswear brands or the menswear category of multi-category retailers
  • Experience within ecommerce and online merchandising
  • Able to communicate with stakeholders and teams fluently and diplomatically throughout the business
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and interpretive skills and advanced knowledge of Excel to guide decisions for the website and merchandising

Responsibilities

  • Completing the weekly trade reporting as well as planning and briefing creative assets for homepage, category tiles and banners to ensure consistency across all customer channels
  • Analysing product and category performance, putting forward recommendations for merchandising improvements and regularly reviewing competitive landscape for features and trends as they relate to best practices
  • Maximise web store performance, focusing on the online customer experience, online merchandising, site searching, product content, features, and benefits, and upsell opportunities
  • Understanding how customers are converting and deciphering whether the site is merchandised to full effectiveness, working in conjunction with the fulfilment team to ensure that the delivery and returns area is being accurately conveyed to customers
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams such as product, merchandising, creative and marketing as well as regularly liaising with buying and merchandising to ensure the company’s trade objectives are implemented
