An Incident Manager opportunity is available for a skilled professional to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This role involves managing and coordinating incidents within EUROCONTROL iNM to restore normal service operations promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and improved system reliability. The position offers remote work with occasional visits to Brussels.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Follow established incident management processes and assess incidents against their category and priority.
  • Quickly assess incidents and triage between teams to ensure faster resolution.
  • Analyse incidents to identify trends and potential root causes for efficient issue resolution.
  • Apply basic technical knowledge (e.g., servers, networks, databases, applications) to understand incident causes and impacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth communication and prompt issue resolution.
  • Create incident reports based on KPIs and SLAs, presenting findings to stakeholders in incident forums.

You Have:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Incident Management and Problem Management.
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse incidents effectively.
  • Basic technical knowledge of core technologies such as servers, networks, and databases.
  • Excellent collaboration and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • EU citizenship (preferable).
