HR Operations Manager in Dublin

As the HR Operations Manager at this studio in Dublin, you will be offered the chance to work remotely with regular onsite visits to the studio, so it is essential that the chosen candidate lives within a commutable distance from Dublin. Within the role you will be a key member of the senior management team, overseeing HR, finance and administration departments with the ultimate goal of supporting studio management through operations activities and drive this rapidly-growing studio to success.

HR Operations Manager key responsibilities: 

  • Oversee operations and administrative teams 
  • Work on delivery and risk management 
  • Supervise all office management activities 
  • Ensure each department follows the budget, forecasts, etc. 
  • Support hiring and retaining talent 
  • Offer support in HR queries such as compensation and benefits 
  • Develop people and processes 
  • Develop an internal communication strategy 

Essential requirements for this role in Dublin: 

  • University degree (or equivalent) in a business-related subject 
  • Extensive experience of operations and leadership experience in the games or entertainment industry 
  • Understanding of Irish tax laws, regulations, etc. 
  • Understanding of business functions including HR, finance, IT, etc. 
  • Passionate about creating processes to support development 
  • Leadership and organisational skills 
  • Knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics 
  • Working knowledge of IT and MS Office 
  • Experience working with international roles 
  • Fluent in English and a second European language such as French is beneficial 
  • Irish background is preferred 
  • Based in Ireland and able to regularly travel onsite to the studio
