As an HR Business Partner, you will add value by influencing, guiding and shaping the people strategy. Working closely with the designated client group and wider HR and talent team, you will take responsibility for the implementation and success of HR initiatives and policies, including but not limited to management development, organisational development, employee relations and change processes.  

To give you an idea of how this HR Business Partner role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do: 

  • Line manage a small HR team within your work stream 
  • Work with the HR advisors to anticipate HR related issues and proactively address employee matters 
  • Analyse trends and metrics to develop appropriate solutions 
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships and engage and influence stakeholders 
  • Coach and build the capability of managers to anticipate and pre-empt people issues 

To succeed in this human resources role, you must be CIPD level 7 qualified or have equivalent experience. You should also be credible with the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships across all levels. In addition, you should have HR experience at a main HRBP level and a track record in delivering HR projects. An expert understanding of HR policies, systems and processes and the ability to provide appropriate advice and guidance which aligns with legal requirements, company policy and best practice is also essential.
