As a Graphics Programmer, you will be a key in game development. You’ll work at the cutting edge, making innovative and immersive games.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Drive for the highest image quality possible for each scene using a pragmatic approach
- Apply a deep understanding of rendering techniques and systems to meet the requirements of the game, extend the feature set and suggest new approaches
- Work with other disciplines to achieve the highest quality visual fidelity possible
- Be involved at any stage of asset production from specification to platform-specific rendering.
To apply for this Graphics Programmer role, you will need to be an expert in C++ and must have worked with C++ for 5+ years and contributed to shipped games on PC or console. You will also require the following:
- Graphics skills, passionate about the latest rendering techniques and achieving the highest possible graphical quality in-game
- An inside-out understanding of cutting-edge renderers and pipelines
- Strong 3D maths skills, with broad knowledge of the theory and practical application of 3D maths in games.
