Go Developer

A Go Developer opportunity is available for a skilled professional to join our client’s team on a fully remote basis. This permanent role offers the flexibility to work from home while developing and maintaining efficient and scalable software applications using the Go programming language. The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to implement backend functionalities and optimise blockchain deployments.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Modify blockchain stacks using Golang and maintain blockchain deployments.
• Create APIs and manage distributed systems networking capabilities for blockchain deployments using Golang.
• Manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Bitbucket CI/CD.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications using Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and Docker-Compose.
• Utilise Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Configure and manage monitoring tools like Nginx, Grafana, Prometheus, and Kibana.
• Work with AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, EKS, Fargate, LoadBalancer, Route53, CloudWatch, IAM, SecurityGroup, NodeGroup, VPC, and ECR).
• Collaborate with the development team to implement backend functionalities using Golang.
• Write scripts and automate tasks using Python, Bash, and other programming languages.

You Have:

• Strong backend development skills, particularly in Golang.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket CI/CD).
• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Preferred experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
