We are helping a world-renowned UK studio find a full-time Gameplay Programmer (Multiplayer) to join their team for a strategic shooter game. The role offers a compelling salary and benefits to match your expertise. 

You'll be part of an experienced game development team composed of programmers, artists, designers, etc. We will start small but will grow in the 100+. The gameplay programming team will be composed of 15-20 programmers. If you are based in the UK, we are always open to discussing how we can support remote and/or Hybrid working options. 

As a Programmer, you will be working on general gameplay elements. You can expect to work closely with game designers, UI artists and animators to implement game mechanics. You will also work with other members of the programming team. 

To apply for this Gameplay Programming role, you will need excellent C/C++ programming skills and sound knowledge of object-oriented development. You will also require the following: 

  • Excellent 3D mathematics in gameplay systems 
  • Experience working console/PC titles 
  • Good communication and team working abilities 
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving capabilities 
  • An interest in shooters and multiplayer games would be ideal
