Skillsearch is helping a UK-based games studio find a talented Gameplay Programmer (Live Ops) to join a group of experienced developers as part of the Live Ops team. This full-time, remote Gameplay role offers hybrid or flexible working options.
As a Gameplay Programmer, you will be building general gameplay systems, including metagame/analytics and game flow.
You will work closely with game designers, UI artists, and animators to implement game mechanics, as well as other members of the programming team on systems and features for current and future titles.
To apply for this Gameplay Programmer role, you will need excellent C/C++ programming skills, with sound knowledge of object-oriented development. You will also require the following:
- A shipped game, on console and/or PC, with work related to gameplay
- Excellent 3D mathematics in gameplay systems
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capabilities
- Interest in shooters and multiplayer games.
