Skillsearch is looking for a talented and skilled animation-focused Gameplay Programmer to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This full-time gameplay programming role offers flexible working across the UK and an attractive salary and benefits package.
As an attentive Gameplay Programmer, you will work on general gameplay elements. You will also work closely with game designers, UI artists and animators to implement game mechanics. The team is an experienced game development team composed of programmers, artists, designers, etc.
The company operates across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool and Wakefield. Work-life balance is important to them, and they want everyone at the company to work in the best way for them. So, if you are based in the UK, they are always open to discussing how they can support remote and hybrid working options.
To apply for this Gameplay Programmer role, you will need excellent C/C++ programming skills with sound knowledge of object-oriented development. You will also require the following:
- Excellent 3D mathematics in gameplay systems
