Do you have Unreal Engine experience, and are you seeking a new remote UK-based job? Skillsearch is helping a gaming company hire a senior Gameplay Programmer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.  

As a Gameplay Programmer, you will be in charge of ensuring the game features created are world-class. You’ll work seamlessly with other members of the programming team as well as the wider studio to make sure the features implemented will work with the other assets to provide exciting and fresh gameplay.  

In your first few weeks in this senior gameplay developer role, you can expect to: 

  • Design and implement elements of content and activities 
  • Develop and maintain game systems 
  • Work on all aspects of the code base 
  • Test, debug, profiling, optimisation and documenting implementations of features. 

To apply for this Gameplay Programmer role, you will need 3+ years of Unreal Engine experience. You will also require the following: 

  • Proficiency in both C++ and Blueprints 
  • Object-oriented programming skills 
  • Ability to extract requirements from a design spec 
  • Experience using source control tools (GIT, SVN, Perforce, Plastic).
