Do you have gaming experience, and are you seeking a new job in Bordeaux? Our client in the games sector is looking for a Gameplay Engineer, and the role comes with a salary of £45,000. 

As a Gameplay Engineer, you will take charge of all the gameplay features you work on, from the idea, through Game Design, to Implementation and code (game-feel, AI/bestiary, systems, meta, player progression, etc.). 

In your first few weeks in this Gameplay developer role, you can expect to: 

  • Design and Architect gameplay systems 
  • Implement gameplay features (e.g., bestiary, game feel, interaction between players, with the setting, meta progression, player skills, etc.) 
  • Create and implement related UIs 
  • Break down and plan your tasks according to broad, collectively set objectives. 

To apply for this Gameplay programmer role, you will need at least 2 years of professional experience in a game studio. You will also require the following: 

  • Experience as a GPP programmer on at least one released game 
  • Fluency in C# Knowledge of Unity 3D 
  • A sensitivity for the game feel of action games. 

In return for your dedication and commitment, you will receive a salary of £45,000 and an excellent benefits package.
