As a Gameplay Programmer at this studio in Offenburg, you will be working with designers, artists, leads, and other talent to bring abstract game ideas to life through strong, maintainable code. You will be playing a pivotal role in the game development process implementing gameplay logic and systems, and a whole lot more! Gameplay Programmer responsibilities:
- Transform abstract ideas into working code
- Bring characters to life using artificial intelligence
- Craft weapons and special abilities to make combat possible
- Implement gameplay logic, systems, and tools
Key requirements for this role in Offenburg:
- Strong working knowledge of C++
- University degree, or equivalent experience
- Experience with AAA character-based games
- Passionate about video games
